As I made my way up the trekking trail I came up over the hill and saw this beautiful site. I fell in love with the Nepali horses and to see them up against the stunning backdrop of the Himalayas took my breath away, although it was already taken away by the climb. I learned the importance that these small but sturdy horses play in the transport system in the remote regions. They really are a life line to villages.
