Travel, nature, and a love for the outdoors have always been a big part of who I am.  Long before photography found me, I was drawn to adventure, new places, animals and the quiet beauty of the natural world.  In my late teens, I traveled through Europe, and in my mid-twenties I had the opportunity to live in both Australia and the USA.  At that point in my life, photography was not  yet part of my journey, but the love of exploring the world and being surrounded by nature was already deeply rooted in me.

Photography came into my life later, after I became a mother. I first picked up a camera simply to capture my children's growing up years and hold onto the moments that pass by so quickly. What began as a way to preserve memories soon became something much more meaningful.  I realized I absolutely loved looking through my lens and capturing life as I saw and felt it.  There was something special about freezing a moment in time, whether it was a quiet expression, a beautiful landscape, or the feeling of being present in a place I never wanted to forget.

As life changed I became a single mom of young children, photography grew into even more than a passion.  it became my creative outlet, my escape, and something that was just for me.  During a season of life that was often demanding and overwhelming it gave me a place to breathe, create, and reconnect with myself.  Over time, I began broadening my photography beyond family moments into pets, landscapes, and lifestyle photography, eventually taking photos professionally. While photography is not my full time career at the moment, it has become a meaningful and lasting part of who I am.

My love of animals, nature, and the outdoors continues to shape the work I create. I'm inspired by the connection between people and places, the stillness and strength found in animals, and the beauty that can be found in both grand adventures and simple everyday moments.  Whether I'm photographing a sweeping landscape, a beloved pet, or a fleeting moment of light, I'm always drawn to images that feel real, grounded, and full of story.

Today I have two amazing grown children, and I'm grateful to have more opportunities to travel again and continue exploring the world through my lens. I hope to do even more of that in the years ahead.  Photography has grown with me through so many different seasons of life, and no matter where my journey takes me next, one thing I know for certain is I won't be putting my camera down.
